Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas for Him

Valentine’s Day is the most romantic day of the year. We wear red and pink. We buy dozens of roses. We eat chocolate and drink fancy champagne. For you ladies who are in brand spanking new relationships, the pressure is on to make it one of the most memorable days you spend with your new beau. The pressure is also on to give him a gift that makes him think you’re the coolest chick on the planet. Thankfully that’s why I’m here to help you guys! I’ve compiled some of the best gifts to give your new dude when you’re just starting a new relationship and not sure what your guy will like!

Guys love to eat. It’s a fact. If you’re strapped for cash and can’t afford something worth a pretty penny, there’s always baked goods! Cookies, brownies, cake, cupcakes, etc.—it’s all good. I really recommend this recipe  for double chocolate chip cookies. The best way to a man’s heart is his stomach, and these cookies are just the ticket to get right in there.

Sports tickets!

It’s high time for sports! Football, basketball, and even hockey is back (yes!). No matter what sport you follow or where you are you can get sports tickets in Philadelphia or another city that is close to you, he will love the gift.” With the playoffs underway, try to snag a couple cheap seat tickets to a game of his favorite sports team. It’s a great gift because it shows how much you care about him (if you hate sports) and you also show him that you’re interested in something he likes to do.

Take him out on a date

It’s pretty traditional for the guy to be the one to take the girl out. But why not switch it up a bit? Take him to his favorite sports bar for some wings and beer. Take him to the movies (his choice!). Treat him like a prince for a day! Guys enjoy to be taken care of even if they don’t like to admit it, and he’ll be thankful that you treat him to a nice night out.

  1. I’m an artist based in Boston, MA. I create “Mapuccino’s”, poster-sized digital prints that at first glance resemble subway maps. But if you look closely, the stops are personalized to capture different moments in your life. They’re pretty popular for couples since both genders seem to appreciate them. I get a lot of interest from women commissioning them for the men in their lives. I think guys are just hard-wired to maps! If you’re interested, you can find out more about them here:
