World MasterCard Fashion Week opened with a bang with Mikhael Kale’s Fall Winter 2015 show. Highly embellished, it was a fashion feast for the eyes that would set the bar high for the rest of the week. Imagining the number of man hours it would take to create each piece is almost inconceivable. Circular cut outs and car-coats trimmed in pastel Mongolian furs felt retro-futuristic and fresh. The collection ranged with pieces that were delightfully over-the-top to sleek superhero sex.
Not to compete with the clothing, models were sent down the runway with slicked-back hair and clean faces (an excellent styling tip for those who love to pull off extraordinary pieces).
