FALL in Love with High Waisted Pants

My favourite season is Fall, the changing colours, the crispness in the air, and of course the return of pants, sweaters, and closed-toe shoes! I have a hard time keeping up with new fall trends that come up every year, but there are those wardrobe staples that have stayed current for decades. This fall I’m excited to introduce high waist pants into my wardrobe. Celebrities can be seen rocking these pants all year long and I’m really inspired by the way Kim Kardashion and Beyonce wear them. There’s something classy, elegant, and chic to high waist pants — they’re reminiscent of Marilyn Monroe’s top fashion moments.

High waist dress pants are a great piece to wear to work, add in a button up blouse, heels, and a colourful bag and you’re set for a day at the office or a night on the town. I love the look of high waist jeans when you’re going out to run some errands or for a casual dinner with the girls. You can easily pair them with a loose t-shirt (tucked in!) or a white blouse. We know it can be hard to keep up with the ever changing seasonal trends, and let’s face it- not every fall trend works for every body type. The beauty of high waist pants is that that work well on EVERYBODY. I mean, EVERYBODY. They elongate your legs if you’re short, and paired with a boot, you look like you have legs for days. They also work well if you’re taller, as well.  The best part if it that they naturally avoid muffin top by holding it all in, and giving you a defined waist. What girl doesn’t want long legs and a defined waist?

Speak now if that’s you!
