Darling of the Week (Noor Marzook)

This week’s Darling is Noor Marzook. She’s the brains behind some really great campaigns, and she’s just a sweetheart.

Tell us a little about yourself.

I am a PR girl. I work on internationally known consumer brands at NATIONAL Public Relations. I love what I do and have fun doing it.

Twitter: @noormarzook

I am wearing: Today I’m wearing a blue dress from h&m, leopard print booties from Nine West and tons of accessories; rose gold watch from Michael Kors, bangles and earrings.

The most versatile item in my closet: I have a cropped denim jacket that I absolutely love and wear with practically everything.

Beauty must-haves: For me, it’s all about the eyes. There’s a saying, ‘if the eyes are the window to the soul…. eyebrows must be the frame.’ I think a pair of well-shaped eyebrows is the beauty must-have. They shape your face and draw attention to your eyes. After a good brow threading, I use my favourite mascaras to make my eyes pop. I currently love Rimmel Scandal Eyes and L’Oreal Voluminous mascara. Add some eyeliner and you’re ready to go!

One thing every girl should have: A pair of fabulous heels.

What are you listening to right now: Currently on replay right now are Emeli Sande and Miguel.

The one thing I can’t leave the house without: My phone…it’s how I stay connected.

Favorite place to eat in the city: There’s only one place in the city where I’ll wait hours in line outside in the cold. Khao San Road. Best Thai spot.

Ideal friday night plans: Dinner and a movie.

All time favorite book/movie: I love reading; it’s so hard to choose just one. I’ve narrowed it down to a few…Paulo Coelho’s The Alchemist, Khaled Hosseini’s A Thousand Splendid Suns and F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby.

Favourite movie is Stand By Me…and the Goonies.
