Chic Darling’s Beauty Holy Grail (Clinique QuickLiner)

This may come as a surprise for most people (especially since I’m technically run a fashion and beauty magazine) but I have a (irrational) fear of eyeliners. I can’t pinpoint exactly when that fear began. It may have been when I attempted to line my eyes, and ended up looking like a raccoon; or maybe when a certain brand made my eyes water all night long. Regardless to say, eyeliners and I don’t get along very well.

Well, that is until now. The lovely team at Clinique sent over a few things, and one of the items that caught my eye was the Quickliner. Being the total nerd that I am, I decided that I would try out everything at 12am. Is there a better time to try out makeup? I didn’t think so.

You may have heard me gush about Clinique products before. They are the ONLY thing that I use for my skin care. The products are hypo-allergenic and allow me to go outside and meet people without having to worry about wearing makeup and covering my skin. In short, the brand and I get along well, so trying out a new eyeliner was not a big stretch for me.

Clinique Quickliner for Eyes Instense Review

Let me just say that I’m in love. The pencil is smooth, doesn’t tug on your lid, and the brush on the other end allows for a very easy smokey eye. The best part is that is stays on for 12 hours and stayed put in humid climates too. It washes off easily enough, but you will need take a few minutes to make sure that everything is gone.

Any product that is that easy to work with, and makes me feel like I don’t anything on is a win in my books. Its comes in 6 vibrant shades ranging from deep black, charcoal and brown to a beautiful midnight blue, rich plum and vibrant green.
